MAORIS' CLAIM.
SHARE OF GOLD REVENUE.

THAMES, Monday
A large crowd of • natives from all parts of the Thames, Coromandel and Thames Valley districts are attending tlie Native Land Court, which opened its sitting here to-day to deal with the natives' claim for a large sum which it is held is due to them by the Crown from gold revenue. The case was opened previously, but adjourned. It is expected the hearing will continue for several days. Mr. Justice McCormick is presiding.
