INDUSTRIAL AWARD.
INTERPRETATION SOUGHT.
An application for interpretation of the Fruit and Produce Merchants', Store men and Packers' Award was sought before the industrial magistrate, Mr. J. A. Gilmour, this morning. The point at issue was the rate of pay for female workers working in excess of 40 hours weekly. The hearing was adfjourned.
