QUARRY ACCIDENT.
MAN CRUSHED BY TRUCK.
Crushed between a metal truek and a hopper while working at a quarry in Gilhes Avenue this afternoon, Mr. Charles Carpenter, of 354, Manukau Road, suffered fractured ribs. He was taken to the hospital by St. John Ambulance.
