DAISY CHAIN CLUB.
The president, Mrs. Lord, presided over _ a large gathering at the weekly meeting of the Daisy Chain Club, held in their rooms, Victoria Street West, on Friday. The vice-president, Mrs. Corrin, opened with the reading of the "Thought for the Day," after which Mrs. Barfoot, the secretary, dealt with correspondence. Arrangements were made for the annual picnic, and those appointed in charge of the sports programme were Meedames Corrin, Wells, Christie and Judge.
A suggestion that a eewing bee should be carried out through the year and articles put'aside for a bazaar to be held later, the proceeds of which will go to the good cheer box to help the sick and needy, was carried.
