OVERSEAS TRIP FOR NEW ZEALANDERS.

With the object of giving members an insight into the lives of country women of Great Britain and other countries, the Dominion Federation of New Zealand Women's institutes has organised a trip to Europe.

The trip, which is to begin in April, will entail a four months' absence from New Zealand, though the tickets will be good for two years and members may prolong their tour if they wish. The trip allows time for a two months' visit to Europe, and the estimated cost of the tour is £250, New Zealand currency, covering return fare, tourist class.

The trip, according to the present ! arrangement, will include thirteen days in London, during which time the members will have the opportunity of attending the conference of the Associated Country Women of the World. Following this a conducted tour of Fiance, Switzerland and Holland will be organised, and an allowance of £50 is suggested to cover individual expenses of members during the tour. Entertainment Arranged. During the second month of the trip the Women's Institutes of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have volunteered to entertain members of the New Zealand party and the New Zealanders will thus have an opportunity of seeing the lives of country women of Great Britain. Through the Associated Country Women of the World it will also be possible for the members to have access to anything they wish to see or study. In return the members will be expected to show pictures and photographs of their own country and give brief talks on New Zealand life to interested English women.
