WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following apooial weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— - . Light to moderate and variable winds. Weather fair to fine and mild. Seas slight.. An ' anti-cyclone still covers northern Now Zealand and the north Tasman Sea, while a.shallow depression is approaching across the south Tasman Sea. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tlritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-oast, light; sea, smooth; 'woather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
