NEW HEADMASTER APPOINTED (From Our Correspondent.) » • HAMILTON, Thursday. The appointment of Mr, T. N. Pent; berton, who for the past 18 years has been senior master at the Hamilton Technical High School, as headmaster of the Papakura School has been announced. Mr. Pemborton started his teaching career as a probationer at the Xewmarket School and later served in the infant department of the Epsom School. -■ After two years at the Auckland Teachers' Training College, ho joined the New Zealand Expeditionary Force and on his return was : appointed to the Waihi District School. His transfer to the Hamilton Technical High School as senior, mastor waa announced in 1021. For Ave years he acted as tutorial leoturer in economics at Htimilton for the Auckland University: College.
