' The necessity for immediate:: action on the part of tlie Government to create a national council against tulicrculosis was urged "at tlie final session of tlie Dominion conference of tlie Hospital ; Boards' Association of Now ■ Zealand at ' Aew Plymouth to-day. Mr'.' J. A. Nnsli, of Palmerston North, moved in that direction,, suggesting that such council be associated with the Department of Health and consist of representatives of the Department, practitioners who arc specialists in the treatment of the disease, and hospital boards which' control sanatoria. ;.< '.
