CONVERSION OF CYCLE. HIS WEAKNESS, SAYS S.M. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUXEDIX, Wednesday. Stating that accused and complainant were friendly, and that the former had previously had authority to ride the cycle. Mr. O. <i. Stevens asked for leniency on behalf of Keith Mclii'tyre Cameron, who pleaded guilty to a charge of having converted to hi«s own use a motorcycle, valued at £7."i, the property of Leslie .lames Scoullar. It was stated ill evidence that complainant had left the cycle at the roadfiide, and when lie returned from visitinff a house, found the cycle had disappeared. Accused had taken it home and a Her wards ridden it about the town. Later, when the had l>een broadcast, awusedVi father had instructed his son j to return the cycle immediately, and the latter had left it outeide business premictee at which, the complainant was employed. The magistrate, Mr. J. R. Bartholomew, said that converting motor vehicles appeared to be accused's weakness. He would be sentenced to two months' | imprisonment with hard labour. I
