AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.

MARCH PAST OF TEAMS ARRANGED

At its fortnightly meeting the Auckland Baseball Association completed its arrangements for the Physical Fitness week It was decided that the clubs be asked to participate-in a march past <.f all organisations from Stanley Street to Carlaw Park on Saturday. FeJbruary 12.~>.

The president. Dr. T. H. Petir. stated that this -would work in with the arrangements suggested by the. special committee. Mr. D. M, Rae, of the executive, expressed willingness to co-operate with demonstrations and coaching of the game throughout the schools of Auckland during Physical Fitne-ss week. A special afternoon of coaching for city schoolboys at Blandford Park on Wednesday, February I*2, was also arranged.

_ To provide a feature frame for the closing day of the week a Possibles versus Probables game will bo playe.l at Blaidford Park, following the return of the marchers from the CarlaW Park parade This match is primarily for the purpose of selecting a team to represent Auckland at the first inter-provincial Softball tourcev which will be held ia Wellington late in March. Messrs. R. Whito, \V. J David'-e and J. C. Herbert were appointed selectors.
