INTER-HOUSE TENNIS. THE SECOND ROUND STARTED. The second round of the inter-house tennis competition for the Pascoe Cup was commenced at the Cllve Road courts laet iii Klit. Results:— Sharland and Company v. Milne and Choyce—S. Lithe-rland and R. Birnie lost to R. Cameron and R. Milne. 2—l>, 3—6 ; J. Smith and F. A. Cocker lost to W. Shepley and R. Bush, I—*>. 2—l>. Milne and Choyce won, two rubbers to nil. Abattoir Employees' No. 2 team v. Commercial Bank No. 2 team.—(i. Halford and S. Harvey beat F. J). YounK and B. Killeen G—.">, e—3; W. So.itlrby and J. Squire lost to R. McNicol and Senn. 2—»>. I—6; S. Harvey and Southby lost to Killeen and McNicol, «—2, s—«, 5—7. Commercial Bank won. two rubbers to one. A.M.P. v. Guardian Trust No. 1 Team.— H. X. Potter and R. Williams .beat R. Cato and J. .Tellie, 6—l, ti—3; X. B. Trower and D. G. Connell lost to A. Weir and X Patterson, 1—«, c>—r>, 3—6; Potter and Trower lost to Cato and Patterson. 2 —G, G—3, I—l>. Guardian Trust Xo. 1 team won by two rubbers to one. A. B. Donald v. X'ational Distributors — B.
