NAME CHOSEN.
GIRL GUIDE CAMP.
The name finally chosen for the world camp of the girl guides in Hungary is Pax Ting. The boy scouts wished that they should not use their special name "Jamboree," so the chief guide and the director of tlie world bureau chose the name "Pax Ting," which embodies the word' "peace," a*> well as being part of the name of the Baden-Powell's home, Pax Hill. Ting is a northern word for a "gathering"' in the most ancient parliament in Europe, that of Iceland, which has always been called the Ting. Therefore Pax Ting means a parliament of peace, and as peace is the thing most longed for in the world, it is hoped that the girls have had a lucky title chosen for their great gathering.-
