AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION.
Wholehearted support, of tho scheme to create a Waitakerc Park as the chief Centennial memorial in Auckland woa expressed at last night's meeting r>f the .Am to mo bile Association (Auckland). It was also divided to donate 10 guineas to the Wuitakere National Park committee. Comniitit was made on tho condition of pedestrian crossings in Queen Street*. It was stated that several croseingn, particularly one of the busiest, just below Fort Street, could liirdly be seen. A motion was parsed requesting the City Council to repaint the crossings, even though the final positions of city crossing* were still under consideration.
