PERMITTED TO LEAVE BED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) VATICAN CITY, February 8. The Pope's condition has improved. He was permitted to leave his bed and received Cardinal Pacelli and other prelates. The- Pope had a slight increase of fever this morning. All immediate and general audiences were postponed indefinitely.
