CRUISE LINER ARRIVING.

STIIATHEDCN DtTB FRIDAY. Approximately 850 tourfete will reach Auckland in the P. and O. liner Stratheden, which, on her first voyage to New Zealand, is due to reach Auckland at noon on Friday, berthing at 1.30. She carries 67 passengers for New Zealand and 63 through paeeengers, in addition to the tourists. The veaeel will be open for public inspection between 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, and will eail for Wellington at 11 p.m. on Saturday. Shortly after the arrival of the ship a party of 70 touriete will leave by car for the Waitomo Caves, Rotor ua, Waifake!, toe Chateau and Wanganui, rejoining the ship at Wellington. Another party of 80 will go by car to Hamilton and will visit Rotor im, the Waitomo Caves and New Plymouth, afterwards travelling to Wellington by rail.

About 35 tourists will go by car to the WaitOmo Cave* and Rotorua, and will return to Auckland. On Saturday over 200 are to travel by special train, leaving Auckland at 7.40 a.m., and 100 by car on a one-day trip to the thermal district. Another epecial train will leave at 9 a.m. with a further 100 tourists, who will spend the night at Rotorua and will then motor to the Chateau, rejoining the ehip at Wellington.
