FULL HOLDS.
WOOL ON DECKS. NAPIER STAR'S BIG CARGO. SAILING FOR LONDON. When the Blue Star eteamer Napier Star eaits from Auckland for London to-day with a full cargo of New Zealand produce, her decks will bejiiled high with wool. Every hold hae been stowed to capacity. Only on rare occasions ie the practice of carrying wool on deck reported to, but the Napier Star took a shipment under similar conditions laet season, the wool arriving in excellent order. Wool is now being stacked into a number of Wooden frames amidships and on the after-deck of the eteanie* at Central wharf. Before sailing tarpaulins will be drawn over the frames as a protection against the weather. A special permit for the carriage of the deck cargo is required from the Marine Department and the stowage will be subject to official examination when completed.
Large consignments of wool from Auckland and Southern eales are also being loaded Into the Rimutaka, Maimoa and Port Campbell. Wool for Germany and the Continent wJH be loaded by the North German Lloyd steamer Erlanger, which will reach Auckland from Australia to-morrow morning, and a quantity for the United States and Canada will leave to-morrow by the motor ship Port St. John.
