STARS.
(By Elva Best, 2G, York St., Parnell.) In bod at niirlit I love to lip, Ami watch tlio stars up in the sky, Like tiny lanterna glowing. On evenings when the air is still, They glide like fireflies, o'er the hill, When Autumn winds are blowing. Often, when I cannot sleep— Though the world'it i" slumber deep, I watch the stars in wonder. I'd like to know all kinds of thinjrs, About the stars, and Saturn's rings, And why it starU to thunder.
