SETTLEMENT REACHED.
ACCIDENT CLAIM. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON", Tuesday. A settlement out of Court for £460 damages was reached in a case to have been heard in the Supreme Court to-day. in which Arthur Ronnie, uifiht watchhian, of Hamilton, claimed £C>oO general •*nd £78 special damages against Leslie I Vincent Mathers and Joshua Mathers, fftrmefe, of Te Rapa. The case was the sequel to an acci' dent at Paeroa on June 4 last, when Renhie, whd w»e riding a cycle, was struck by a car driven by Leslie Mathers, the cyclist suffering a fractured skull and other head injuries, and • degree of permanent disability.
