CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. ; The board of the New .Zealand Trotting Association to-night passed the following resolution:— "It having come to the knowledge of the association that there was a very great discrepancy between the respective performance* of the horae* Parisienne and Lucky Jack in the Dunedin Cup Handicap on the first day of the Forbury Park Trotting Club's enmmer meeting and their respective performances in the Metropolitan Handicap on the second day of the urn* meeting, the association..is of the opinion that an inquiry should be held for the purpose of ascertaining the reason of eucb discrepancies. . "The association suggests the advisability of th« Forbury Park Trotting .Club holding pnch an inquiry, but if it prefers not to do so the association proposes to hold one, as at .the present time there is a very strong feeling that the respective ?ierforroances were ao inconsistent as to ustify those concerned being called upon to give an explanation of the diecrepancies."
