OPIUM SMOKING.
CHINESE FITTED. (By Telegraph.—Preee Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Gee Loeng, a Chinese laundryman, was fined £50 in the Magistrate's Court for permitting premises to be used for urnokiiig opium. Eight other- Chinese; found unlawfully on the premises, were fined from £12 10/ to £30.
