Four engines, two from the Central fire station and one each from the Western Districts and Parnell stations, answered a call to an outbreak of fire in the back of a eedan car parked in Elliot Street, City, laet night. The upholstery of the back seat was damaged, but the outbreak was easily suppressed with first-aid equipment.
