ftUMIAN BALLET PROGRAMME. Auckland balletomanes will have their last opportunity this evening of seeing the second programme presented by the Covent Garden Russian Ballet Company at Hie Majesty's Theatre. This includes one of the most spectacular of a>l the ballet* to be presented locally by the company, "Aurora's Wedding," and also a new composition, "The Gods go a-Beg-ging." The third ballet on the programme," "Scheherazade," is one of the best known of all ballets, being a modern intetprettaion of the drama of the Arabian Nights. The graceful "Lee , Sylphidee" heads the new programme, which opens to-morrow night. The other two are ones that should also prove popular with the patrons— "he* Presages" xnd "Union Pacific." Those who have already had the good fortune to see one or more «f the pTojrrammes by the company know the superlative grace, beauty and skill of all members. One of the foremost dancers in the company i« Tatiana Riabotichinska. From the very first Riabouehineka was hailed as a dancer of remarkable attainments, but in the last neason at the Royal Opera, Corent Garden, London, she took a great step forward and ha* come t6 be recognised as one of the really great dancers of all time. Her chief roles are the name part in "Cinderella/' Frivolity in "Presagee," the Prelude in "Sylphidee. ' 'The Gods Go a-Begeing," and the Blue Bird iu "Aurora'* Wedding." Baronora is another ballerina who has , contributed equally with Riabouchineka. Irina Baronova is dark and exquisitely beautiful. Her technique is absolnteiy flawless and she has made a complete stieeens of every role in which she has appeared.
