WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the " Auckland Star" thia afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tau range:— Moderate south-westerly winds predominating, later turning to the west and north-west. Weather fair to fine. Temperatures moderate. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone is located over northern New Zealand, while a rather snaliow westerly aepreseion is advancing from the south Tasman sea on to the South Islana. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-west, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
