GLUT OF PEACHES. SELLING VERY CHEAPLY. GREEN* VEGETABLES LOWER. There was only a fair demand for dessert apples at the City Markets to-day and values were lower. Cooking apples had a fair demand, also apricot? and tomatoes. The market was glutted with peaches and prices were consequently very low*. Values were also low for plums, for which there was scarcely any' demand, but lemon values showed signs of improvement. Hothouse grapes were m fairly heavy supply, low rates ruling.
