Following the bomb explosions which caused heavy damage at the Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square tube stations on Friday morning, another explosion yesterday wrecked the interior of the Torre Conservative Club at Torquay. Nobody was injured. An attempt was made to-day to blow up the walls of the gaol at Liverpool in which men recently arrested are held 011 remand. In the course of a raid on Irish Repubj lican Army adherents' houses in Belfast, tlw police are reported to have found plans to blow up Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the House of Commons and the Bank of Kngland. It is learned that Irish Republican Army documents seized by the Ulster police show terrorist plot* traceable to the Dublin CTOilp, says the "Daily Telegraph." The Irish Republican Army membership throughout Britain is estimated at 3000. Definite Campaign Planned. The authorities are convinced that a. campaign is planned similar to Ireland a revolt in 1920. The paper adds that the Ulster police informed Scotland Yard that they had discovered a widespread plot, including a plan for the assassination of police officers in London and elsewhere. A message from Dublin says the Eire Cabinet considered the tube bombings and decided that no action wa-s possible while Eire"was politically calm, but that they would co-operate with the London police if requested. After Friday's bombings a member of the House of Commons, Sir Thomas Moore (Conservative, Ayr Burghs), tabled a motion adding to the Criminal Justice Bill a provision to enable corporal punishment to be given for the manufacture, distribution or placing ot explosives for the purpose of destroying life or property. Shortly before midnight an attempt was made to blow up a wall of Walton gaol at Liverpool, where the men remanded in connection with the recent explosives charges were being held. A small hole was blown in the base of the wall.

During a raid on a house in a London suburb, the police found a list of the names of all police officers attached to the Scotland Yard Special Branch. It is believed it was compiled from a list supplied from a police source.
