MORE SCRATCH RACES. CENTRE'S SECOND SERIES. LYXXDALE NOW JUST AHEAD. ■At Papatoetoe Stadium on Saturday the riding of the three Lynndale men, Baldwin, Hughes and Gooder, assisted their club to ultimately lead on points for the two meetings already decided. The other three grades were almost monopolised by the Northern Club's riders, who were only two-thirds of a point behind Lynndale at the conclusion of the racing. The key to the clubs in the undernoted results is:—(L) Lynndale, (N) Northern, (P) Papatoetoe, and (M) Manukau. The Northern Club gained the most points with 27 1-3, then followed Lynndale with 17, and Papatoetoe and Manukau with 2 1-3 each. For each absentee rider a point was deducted from the respective clulis' totals. Manukau had 8 points deducted, Northern 3 and Papatoetoe 2, With two meetings decided the order is:—Lynndale. 32 points: Northern, 31 1-3; Papatoetoe. 6 5-6; Manukau, 5 2-3.
