Lyons announced that* extensive plans had been completed, by the Commonwealth Government to ensure prompt delivery oC defence supplies and immediate mobilisation of industry in an emergency.
The . industrial advisory panel appointed last year would undertake immediately to complete, a review of supply and works aspects of the defence programme.
The Prime Minister also announced that -under the scheme, which the Government adopted 'for production of ammunition, 15) annexes would be established at private factories and State railway workshops.
