APPLE CAKES.
One tablespoonful butter. 2 tablespoonfuls sugar. 1 egg. 1 cup self-raising Hour, milk, chopped apple, walnuts, cinnamon. Cream butter and sugar; add the egg and beat well; then the Hour sifted and enough milk to mix easily. Bake in patty tins with a piece of walnut, slices of apple and a sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon on each. Cook in a moderate oven.
