THEFTS ADMITTED.
WHARF SHED ENTERED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The piercing of a hole through the wail of a wharf building on January 14 and the theft of a quantity of tongues and sugar led to the appearance on remand in the Magistrate's Court of "William Albert Harris and Alfred James Rodgers, who were charged with breaking and entering a shed at the Kitchener Street wharf and stealing goods valued at £7 11/, the property of the Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd. Both the accused pleaded guilty and were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Arising out of the thefts bv Harris and Rodgers, David Edward Griffiths and Thomas Cullinan were fined £ 5 each for receiving stolen property.
