CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL.
DEVON AND CORNWALL CLUB. The Devon and Cornwall Club held its Christinas carnival in the Manchester Unity Hall, this weejc. The president, 'ftlr. *LHarvey, welcomed*- the guests, who numbered about 200. Another good pr ogram mo had been arranged by the social * committee. Mr. O'Connor contributed an elocutionary item and Mr. Scott humorous sketching. A display of the' Celebrated Cornish, floral dance was given by' dancers organised by Miss Beresford: Mr; Broad,: president of the Gloucester and Somerset Club, and Mrs. Broad were guests of honour. Dancing concluded an'enjoyable programme.
