BULLET WOUND IN CHEST.
MARRIED WOMAN'S DEATH. (By Telegraph.—Preae Association.) HAWERA, this day. With a .22 calibre rifle beside her and a bullet wound in her chest, Mrs. Alice Berlha Andrews was fo i id by her husI>and outside their farmhouse at Meremere yesterday afternoon. She was sent to hospital, but she died last evening. It is understood that she made a statement that she intended to shoot birds, and accidentally shot herself. Her husband left home at 11 a.m. to do some harvesting. Returning at 3 p.m. he found his wife lying seriously wounded near the house. It is understood that deceased's health had been causing her family concern for some time. ° ===== .1
