BOXING JUDGE'S ACTION. Finished With the Sport — Decision of Draw Criticised. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. At the end of the Les Adams (10.31) v. Johnny Foster (10.6) boxing match last iiight, there was an unprecedented happening in the annals of boxing in Ashburton. Pandemonium prevailed, Adams obviously being the public selection. Mr. ■1. H. Grigg, one of the judges, entered the ring, endeavouring to make himself heard. Eor a time he was unsuccessful, and when given a fairly good hearing he said that, as the decision had been given ae a draw, he was finished with boxing in Ashburton. This remark created uproar. They had seen a good boxer (pointing to Foster, a Canadian), against a wrestler (pointing to Adams, of Asliburtojp). The uproar now was deadening, and it was some moment* before Mr. Grigg could proceed. For his part, concluded Mr. Grigg, he was finished with boxing in Ashburton.
