OBITUARY.
MR. ALFRED O. EDWARDS. The death has occurred in the Auckland Hospital of a veteran of the Egyptian campaign of 1882, Mr. Alfred George Edwards, in his 80th year. Joining the third battalion of the Rifle Brigade, 1878,' Mr. Edwards was later transferred to the lftth Hussars, serving in Egypt in 1882. He arrived in New Zealand about 12 years ago, and was for some time" in the Veterans' Home at Mount RiskiH.
