MR. F. W. GREY HONOURED. C ingratulations wwf extended at a meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Swimming Centre this week to Mr. F. \Y. Grey upon the New Zealand Council's decision to grant him the right to wivir the New Zealand swimming hla/.er for his services as the centre's educational officer. It was decided to forward the .Newmarket Club's application for affiliation to tlie New Zealand Council with u favourable recommendation. A report was submitted that the NewZealand Association's films had been shown at St. Helier's. <;ientield and Albany to audiences consisting mostly of children. It was agreed that tlie dates for the Auckland championships should be fixed
at the management committee's next meeting.
