RADIO PROPAGANDA.
NAZIS RECOGNISE VALUE BERTJX. Xnzi Cermany believes in the value of radio propaganda. For years popular receiving sets have been on the market. but under official direction, manufacturers have combined to make thein at as little cost as possible so that the poorest, families could Vsten to the Fuehrer when he addresses the nation. On such occasions the speeches are also relayed to the public by loud speaker? placed in all busy centres throughout the country. Now this latter system is to be more widely extended. Two types t,f loud-speakers havf been selected. Of the more powerful type there will be 0000 set up in the cities and middle-sized towns. These take the shape of high six-sided pillars A certain revenue will be derived from them as their surfaces will carry adver tisements illuminated from within. Ii view of their limited number, it is declared they will not compete seriouslj with other advertising agencies. The less powerful type is known a! the "mushroom" loud-speaker owing t< its appearance. It wi'l be turned out in more lavish numbers, but will carrj no advertisements. It is designed foi villages and for those ceiitres in biggei towns where for traffic reasons it it not desired to attract too large crowds,
