MANUREWA AFFAIRS.
Happy relations that have existed between the Manurewa Borough Council and the Manurewa Ratepayers' Association were the subject of comment when members of the council and of the associations executive met at a social function.
Referring to the achievements of tin? council to date, Mr. F. P. Le a , president of the association, gave an assurance that his body would continue its policy of co-operation. The Mayor, Mr. W. Ferguson, also spoke of the record and aims of the council.
It is intended to hold similar gatherings each year.
