TALKS WITH IL DUCE.
Mr. Chamberlain to Go With Lord Halifax. OUTCOME FROM MUNICH. British Official Wireless. (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, November 28. An official announcement of the visit by Mr. Chamberlain to Rome early in the New Year was issued in the following terms:— "At the meeting at Munich Signor Mussolini suggested to Mr. Chamberlain that he should at some future date pay a visit to Rome. "As the opportunity for making such a visit might occur during the forthcoming Parliamentary recess inquiries were made whether a date in the first half of January would be suitable to Signor Mussolini.
"His Kxwllency has stated that he would, in principle, welcome a visit from Mr. Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax at that time."
