Despite an appeal from the Mayor, Sir Erne«t Davi*. the Auckland Trans- J poit Board this morning decided to take ' no action in regard to the provision of l>u* *heltf»r* in the Knhimarama-Mission Bay area. This is in line with its previous decision reached at the meeting held on Septeiulier .V " The Mayor xtated tliat his letter «a« in response to representations from the KohimaraitiM-MiMoion Ray Progressive League. He aaked the board to reconsider its decision. Mr. J. Savegh moved that the letter lie received and that the board'& previous decision be adhered to.
