After attending the funeral of Kemal Atiitm k in Turkey, Field-Marshal Lord Bird wood returned to England on Friday, crossing the Channel in the same ctoiinior an Mr. Chamberlain ftnd Viscount Halifax. . I Lord Birdwood had to be carried ashore owing to the foot he injured on his way through Pari# to Ankara being inflamed.
