Presbyterians beat Methodists by eight rubbers to four in the annual match between the Papakura churches. In the B grade the Presbyterians were also victorious by ten rubbers to two. Playing in the Ixiwer Waikato competitions at Taupiri the home team defeated Gordonton by 14 sets (122 games) to 2 sets (72 games). At Pukemiro. in the same competition.
