NO MEN'S PROGRAMME. SOME WOMEN' S TEAMS TAKE FIELD. Owing' to n misunderstanding over the postponement of tlie men's games, several of the Women's teams did not fulfil their engagements in the competitions of tilt' Auckland Women's. Baseball Association at the Outer Domain. However. several matches were played, the main attraction being that between Greer's and Training College. A high standard of pla.V was shown ami the fielding was particularly keen. Greer's prevailed in the last innings by two runs. Results:— A Grade.—Sydney Trippers 16. r. Training < ollege A 3: Silknit 2H. v. Swing A 7; Greer's 12. v. Training College 10. B Grade.—Junior Blues 10. v. Swing B 6: Farmers' Trading A 02. v. Swifts 1. The inclement weather was responsible for the postponement of the opening of the men's knock-out competition. Practice matches were held at Gillies Park, Fowld's Park and North Shore.
