ATTEMPT ON SAFE.
THIEVES AT TE PAPAPA. PETTY CASH TAKEN. Thieves who broke into the office of Suburban Buees, Ltd., in Captain Springs Road, Te Papapu. last night plugged a eharge of gelignite into the safe, but the explosion failed to open the door. Entrance was gained by forcing a door with a jeihmy. The *afe door wa* half•pened by the explosion. The offico whs thoroughly eearched for money, a few •hilling* in petty cash being etolen.
