32 AT PRACTICE AT OTAHUHU. Efforts to revive the game of polo in Auckland are meeting with success, and a club is in the process of formation in Ofahtihu. At the first practice last week ! 312 players were present, and whilst the horses were rather awkward, and the stickwork not up to standard, future practices should tnrn out some solid sides. I The first pames, to be played in four eliukkas of five minutes each, will take j place at Ruckland's paddock, Favona Koad. Otaliuhu. on December 3. The period he- ' tween chukkas will vary according to the 'number of teams, but will be sufficient to enable the entire same to be played with one horse lot each player.
