BRITAIN REJECTS JAP. REPLT.

(Received 11 a.m.) TOKYO, November 24. The British Ambassador, Sir Robert Craigie, informed Mr. Arita, Foreign Minister, that the Government does not accept Japan's arguments against the reopening of the Yangtse. The spokesman said that Pearl River would shortly be reopened, depending on strategical necessity.
