I lie "Daily Telegraph" Paris correspondent summarises the results of the Franco Mr it isli talks thus: — (I) Extension of military collaboration. (2) ( out iiii ih tion of appeasement efforts wit limit overshadowing defence necessities. ( :t) At present no modification of non intervention in Spain and no granting of belligerent rights, except as part of that plan. (4) France approved the British action and plans for Jewish emigration, which were referred to Earl Winterton's committee, to which financial •upport will be given if necessary for international action.
Tlie correspondent adds that the Far East was considered only very briefly.
