THE ISSUES.
The time has come to have a (settlement with the totalitarian State*. The British foreign policy has heen treated as a football by the dictators for the last time. John Bull lias rolled his sleeves up at last. Britain hi* realised all along that this day must come. It is far better that it should come now while the small democratic States are still with us than later when they are not with us. Britain will not allow another small country to he thrown into the maw of Fascism. ThU would mean a surrender of all Germany's ex-colonies at Hitler's demand. It would mean the ceding to Germany of all land in the world where Germans live. It would mean a smashing drive through Rumania, and the loss of India. In short, it would be the death knell of the British Empire. INTELLIGENCE A.
