GALA DANCE.
ONETANGI FUNCTION.
On Saturday night there was a good attendance at the Onetangi Hall when a gala dance, organised by the Onetangi Ratepayers and Residents' Association, was held. Added colour was given to the brightly decorated hall by a generous distribution of balloons, streamers and confetti during the progress of dancing. Xon-dancers were catered for by a five hundred card tournament, the successful players being Mrs. Thomson and Mr. M. Conway. Generous prizes, donated by local residents, were also given for competitive dances. The supper arrangements were in the hands of Mesdames A. Ahem. R. Carter and F. C. Davies. and Mr. R. McGrevy was in control of the dance floor.
