MANY NEW VOTERS.

DUNEDIN INTEREST. LARGER REGISTRATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. The exceptional interest whL-h is being taken in the general election is indicated in an increase in the total number of electors on the genera" and supplementary rolls, the grand total of registrat.-ns for the four city electorates being 64,241, whereas in 1935 the grand total for the four city electorates and Chalmers was 62,668. In consequence of the alteration of boundaries 2500 electors were lost to Dunedin and transferred to Oamarn or Central Otago. so that with the elimination of the Chalmers registrations this year s totals show very material increases on those for 1935. * 100,000 AT WEILIN GTOIf.
