DUNEDIN INTEREST. LARGER REGISTRATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. In consequence of the alteration of boundaries 2500 electors were lost to Dunedin and transferred to Oamarn or Central Otago. so that with the elimination of the Chalmers registrations this year s totals show very material increases on those for 1935. * 100,000 AT WEILIN GTOIf. More than 100,000 electors are on the main anfl supplementary rolls for the sis Wellington electorates for the 193b general election, the increa£e since 1935, when there were five electorates, being approximately 26.000. The main rolls closed with 54,478 names, compared with 51,802 in 1935, when an extensive purge was carried out. Sines June 30 more than 22,000 applications have been made for inclusion in the supplementary roll, compared with approximately 30.000 in 1935.

The supplementary roll for the Marsden electorate closed with 1938 names, almost the same number, 1928, as cn the supplementary roll for the 1035 election. The total number oil both rolls ij now 12.402. For the last cleetion there were 12,242 names on the rolls.
