(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") TE AROHA, thia day. Track work at Te Aroha thia morning was carried out on the course proper, on which the flags were out 20ft. Serviceable work was executed Vy Galloping Acre, Star Vaal, Noitaro, Luleen. the Brazen colt and Miss Brierly. Mazir ran six furlongs under a nice hold in 1.10. Golden Sheila (Preston 1 looking bright and well forward in racing condition, went to the four furlong post with Fulette (Skiffington). The latter got the best of the start, but Golden Sheila quickly joined Issue, and the pair raced down the straight in line, but at the post Golden Sheila had a neck advantage in 53 2-ss. The Foxbridge—Volimond filly got over two furlongs in 28s. Huntlngmore waa worked over & round on the lead. Pirate King, looking fresh and well, took 1.0 1-5 for five furlongs, but was not ridden out. Gay Rose put in two solid rounds. — — ■ I AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. Acceptances for the Trial Hurdles, Short* Handicap, Mitch el son Cup, Hunters' Steeples, Gordon Handicap and Flying Handicap, to be run at the spring meeting of the Auckland Pacing Club, close with the secretary, Mr. W. S. Spence, at 5 p.m. next Friday. At the »ame time final payment* are due for the Great Northern Guineas and Welcome Stakes. ROTORUA AND BAY OF PLENTY HUNT. The Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt will hold its annual race meeting at Arawa Park. Rotorua, on Saturday, October 30. The Hunt Cup of £140, including a trophy value £20, about three miles, is the chief item, while the Hack Cup of £120, one mile and a quarter, is next in importance.
