ONEHUNGA BRANCH. SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. About MO guests attended a successful social and dance arranged by the < Onehunga Women's organisation of the ' New Zealand National Party, held in '■ the Foresters' Theatre, Onehunga, this 1 week. The stage and hall were tastefully ' decorated with bowk of coloured arum lilies and spring flowers and red, white ; and blue bunting. ] The guests were received by the president, Mrs. Keith Buchanan, who wore a frock of black taffeta. Guests of j honour at tile function were Mr. J. Park and Mrs. Park, who wore a frock ot chantillv lace. A bouquet of spring flowers was presented to Mrs. Park by Mrs. Buchanan. A well-attended meeting of members of the Urey Lynn branch of the Women's Organisation of the National Party walield in the Urey Lynn Library hall last week. Mrs. J. W. Kealv was the speaker, and she gave an interesting address on the political situation. Several new | \ members were enrolled at the close of i I the meeting.
